Rebuilding a community provides a perfect opportunity to dramatically affect the "green-ness" of our footprint on the land. Nowhere is this more significant than in Southern Mississippi, with its beautifully distinct and valuable ecosystem.

We believe that it is possible to build homes that are simple, decent, affordable and greener than before.

It's not an easy journey. At the end of the day, our families must be able to afford whatever initiatives we undertake. But we're committed to the journey.

While this approach has always been a part of our ethos, beginning in 2009, we have made a more formal commitment to these values.
